As you read this, Eurasia is being redefined. Across these two interconnected continents, cities, regions, and countries are changing rapidly. Alliances are shifting; new powers rise and old powers scramble.

However, simultaneously, ordinary people are feeling more and more disconnected from what is happening. Not only do the changes feel too big for a single individual to grasp, discussions on the developments in international relations are too often dominated by career diplomats and bureaucrats. This widespread elitism leads to detachment and frustration among ordinary people about the visions that are being developed. Contributing crucial perspectives and innovative ideas becomes a hurdle for most in this environment.

The Young Eurasian Forum for International Politics wants to reinvigorate the culture of discussion about international politics. Young voices should spearhead this drive because we are the ones who will see the mistakes and failures but also the visions and hopes of today come true within our lifetime. YEFIP seeks to provide a space in which young Europeans can learn, discuss, and engage with youth from all over Eurasia on the topic of international politics. We therefore invite youth from all over Eurasia to contribute to our discussion of Eurasia’s future, either through writing an article, engaging in our virtual conferences, or even just by leaving a comment.

Providing a venue for youth to develop ideas for tomorrow—that is YEFIP’s aim.

YEFIP publishes articles written by young people from all over the world on topics in international politics that they are interested in - anyone can contribute, no degrees required, only genuine curiosity.

In addition, YEFIP hosts bimonthly online conference to foster a culture of in-person discussion alongside written discourse.

  • YEFIP wants to enable its young people to dive deep into a topic they feel passionate about. Through news articles, anyone can write an article to highlight a topic you feel is not getting enough attention.

  • Expressing your opinions on international issues is a central element of YEFIP. Editorials, much like articles, dive deep into a topic. At the same time, the author lays out his opinion on this issue and provides his ideas about possible solutions to the problems presented in the editorial.

  • Twice a month, we host conferences with various guests from all walks of life. This is the core of YEFIP.

Be it students, world-renowned universities, diplomats, or entrepreneurs, we want to provide a wide range of perspectives on the changes our world is facing. Through these meetings, we want to give our attendees puzzle pieces that they can use to build their worldview and carry on into their future lives.
